This bright, sun filled room, located on the second floor in the back of the house welcomes guests with a comfortable, firm queen bed, a compact and functional desk corner, and cozy, bright, colorful decor. The mirrored chest of drawers provides plenty of storage for longer stays and the private back stairs leads directly to the kitchen for guests who prefer easy access to breakfast!

Behind the Room Name: C. Wilhelmina Dobbins  

In 1922, the District of Columbia purchased .8 acres of land from C. Wilhelmina Dobbins for little more than $20,000. A nationally recognized school was built on the site, and our Inn is located in this “Dobbins” addition to the Bloomingdale neighborhood.
